Network Play
Hosts and clients must all be on the same WiFi network (LAN) as the host device.
If a Roku streaming player or Roku TV runs Joustine, it is the host: it shows the game and a QR code on the big screen. The Roku remote counts as a player.
Guests do not need to install anything: they scan the QR code and play from a tap-interface in their phone's web browser.
Joustine on Roku does not stream game video to clients; everyone watches the shared TV screen.
The best experience is players gathered around the Roku screen, using their own devices only for input, rather than everyone watching their own handheld.
Joustine may work with any device's web browser on your LAN.
